MySpace "Email verification" not working

Is this something new? I created another MySpace Acct, and created a profile, now when I try to Message someone, it says I need to verify my em ail address....when I verify it...i wait...and wait..a.nd wait..and wait...for the email for the verification, but it NEVER goes through to me.

I hav ebeen waiting on it since last night..whats up with that??

I keep verifying over over again, the message says it should be in my INBOX now but nothing

I just went in, created an account. That worked fine. Then i went to another one of my profiles, and got the verification email notice that you mentioned.

I received the email almost instantly. Clicked the verification.
Then it said I could send messages. I didn't proceed from there
any further.

There was an option to request another verification email. I would attempt to send another message, and do the verification again.

Nope....

I hit the request verification button a billiion times...still nothing..I am stuck, and cannot do anything with my MySpace account until it's verified, I wonder if this is a new attempt to keep spammers like us from creating multiple accounts on MySpace to avoid further spammers

Tony,
Something else you might consider. Are you using Firefox? Sometimes IE is the only way to get some things to work.

Are you trying to do it thru a badder adder interface? Right now BA has issues, even though an update just came out, myspace just changed some things, which just happened to coincide.

Also, myspace has been in the news alot with some lawsuits in the last couple of days. Predator type lawsuits. It may be part of their attempt to
take steps to combat that.

Lastly, hey, could be part of attempt to slow down mass creation of
profiles.
There have been one or two software applications that have come out lately that semi mass create profiles. A Captcha was required. Now unless those softwares update, they'll have to do a captcha AND an email verification.

Yes MySpace is busting down child predators and that is good they are doing that. So maybe inconvenient for some and a blessing for others.

Well, I can't do anything (I E Message anyone on MySpace with my new account until I get a Verification link, which I've yet to receive after numerous attempts)

So its either that, or use my current or other working accounts.

So then instead of clicking on the link copy and paste the link....and if it doesnt have the addy showing on the link then right click it and check the properties to see what the addy is.
